Sarlat is sought after and can be very busy. That means it can be difficult to drive to, but it’s worth it !
Here is a suggestion to avoid driving in: Bike to Sarlat-la-Canéda! You can bike there from Gourdon along the bike road and bike trails. You don’t have to bike all the way, but you may not want to drive in too close to avoid queues. If you still end up in traffic, remain zen ! You’re on vacation!
